1. Fluidyne Strainers are manufactured from high quality castings from reputed foundries. Fabricated strainers are made using seamless pipes and D.P., Ultrasonic, X-Ray and Radiography testing of castings and welds are carried out and ensure that the strainers and filters are very safe for use. Test bar analysis of heat numbers is carried out for chemical and physical properties. Stringent and preventive stage-wise inspections are carried out with hydraulic testing at 1.5 to 2 times design pressure. Our Strainers are designed by our experienced design team. Some characteristics that make them better are: Perfectly streamlined flow profiles, large free flow area to accommodate large size of mesh, Better filtration, less clogging and low pressure drop and can easily withstand fluctuation in pressure, vibration and heating effects.
2. Fluidyne range of Strainers and Filters covers Y-Strainer, Duplex Strainer, Pot / Bucket Strainer, Tee Strainer Conical Strainer and Angle Strainers. Mesh from 2 X 2 to 500 x 500 . Materials: graded Cast Iron, Steel, Bronze, SS 304, SS 316, Flanged, Screwed and Butt weld, Forged bar stock strainers are offered up to 1500 P.S.I.
3. Fluidyne Strainers and Filters are designed specially keeping in mind their location in a pipeline, application, maintenance requirements and the degree of filtration they would be required to do. Cover and baskets are specially designed for easy removal and cleaning. Drain plugs are provided to blow off accumulated foreign particles. If required by the clients we can provide Drain valves. For large sized pumps lifting eye bolts or lugs are provided to give extra support. Fluidyne Y-Strainers are an economical solution for removal of impurities like waste, solids, scales from liquid, gas or steam pipelines by perforated or wire mesh elements. Fluidyne Y-Strainers are installed in pipelines to protect process equipments, valves, pumps, flow meters, process controls, steam traps, pressure regulators and other process instruments and equipments. Fluidyne Y-Strainers are used where the quantum of impurities are small. Fluidyne Y-Strainers are provided with drain plug or drain plug with drain valve to quickly flush out the sediments that may have been collected at the bottom of the strainer.

Fluidyne T-Strainers or Tee Strainer has a unique designhaving many advantages over other types of designs. Fluidyne T-Strainers or Tee Strainer are compact and installed where there are space restrictions. Fluidyne T-Strainers or Tee Strainer can be installed either vertical or horizontal. Fluidyne T-Strainers or Tee Strainer have easily cleanable strainer elements. Fluidyne T-Strainers or Tee Strainer have convoluted strainer screen and unrestricted flow path that results in a very low or negligible pressure drop. These strainers are ideal for applications such as condensate and boiler feed pump suction where the process water has low solids loading and the pressure drop is critical

Fluidyne Duplex Strainers provide economical protection for pumps, valves and other equipment by straining foreign matter from the connected piping system and avoid costly shutdowns for repair or replacement of equipment damaged by foreign matter. Fluidyne Duplex Strainers are designed for use in fluid handling systems where the flow cannot be shutdown for basket cleaning in typical services like cooling water, compressors, condensers, fire lines, fuel lines, lubrication systems, salt and fresh water systems, chemical process systems, pump suction service, and more. Fluidyne Duplex Strainers use two 3-way balls or four ball or butterfly valves as the diverters. Balls are SS304 or 316SS for corrosion resistance, strength, and resistance to build-up of solids on the balls’ surfacesPTFE seats provide bubble-tight sealing. Fluidyne Duplex Strainers have large open area ratios ensuring minimum pressure drop across the unit. Fluidyne Duplex Strainers (or double basket) strainer operate continuously and need not be shut down for cleaning. This type of basket strainer has two separate strainer basket chambers that operate independently. When one basket chamber becomes full, the flow is switched to the other allowing the first basket to be pulled out and cleaned.

Fluidyne Suction Strainers cum Foot Valves or End-Line strainers cum valve are designed to be installed at the inlet end of suction line and installed at the bottom of suction tanks. Screen prevents debris from entering the line. Fluidyne Suction Strainers cum Foot Valves are usually located on the end of suction pipelines or suction hose that are pulling liquids from tanks, ponds, pits or below-ground tanks. Fluidyne Suction Strainers cum Foot Valves prevent larger solids and debris from entering the suction line so a finer particle strainer or second strainer like Y type, T-Type or Basket type Strainer would also be needed in the liquid system. Another version of the End-line Strainer is the Bottom Hole Skimmer.Foot valves are installed at the inlet of a suction line normally at the bottom of the storage tank as a prime holding valve so that the suction line remains filled for easy priming of pumps.
