Fluidyne have designed level gauges, indicators and valves with utmost care for getting the maximum economy accuracy and durability. Your level indicators and level gauge should have the same strength as your vessel to withstand the high pressures to which it is subjected and the corrosive characteristics of the fluid. Also, your valuable process fluid should never leak out through the glass fitting. In industries, you may have to measure the levels of colorless liquids, interface of immiscible fluids, liquids with sub-zero temperatures and liquids with too much foaming. All these requirements can be met with by our latest types of tubular level gauges, flat glass level gauges and magnetic non-contact type level indicators. Tubular Level Gauges



Fluidyne provides high quality and most effective range of tubular level indicators that suit various industrial applications. We also offer wide varieties of gauge glass protectors for tubular level indicators. Various types of tubular level gauges available with us are: 

Model: BCO –Tubular Level Indicator with Tie Rod or Pipe Shield 
Our BCO tubular gauges are superior in quality that are manufactured with a pair of auto shut off ball check valves with offset and union construction. Because of their simple design, and their ability to work without additional isolation valves they can be installed very easily and cost-effectively. The innovative offset construction of the valves enables glass tube's to be replaced while in use. Whenever the glass tube breaks the ball check arrangement automatically closes the valve seat and prevents wastage of any fluid. Glass tube protection in the form of " Tie Rods" or "Pipe Shield" is provided.

Model: HDO- Heavy Duty Level Indicators
Our superior quality transparent heavy duty tubular level indicators or level gauges are equipped with heavy valve glass tubes fitted. These valve glasses are fixed with a heavy duty metallic frame, which is made from min. 3mm thick channel box type protectors. We can also provide auto-shut-off ball check, needle or ball valve isolator as an integrated part with these indicators, if required. These are designed specially to endure to extreme conditions and they can easily withstand alignment stress. Our premium indicators are available in two varied models :

Top Mounted Heavy Duty Level Indicators



Top mounted level indicators offer high levels of security to the storage tanks. Since they are mounted at the top of the tank, it reduces the risk of hazardous fluids getting spilled through any leakage. Theres a float that is channelized in the tank by a perforated pipe and a sealed glass tube. Float steam tip has an in-built pointer, which correctly indicates the level.

HEAVY DUTY LEVEL INDICATOR
MODEL: HDO These transparent level indicator are provided with heavy wall glass tube fitted in heavy duty metallic frame made from min. 3mm thick channel box type protectors. They are rugged and can withstand alignment stresses. These indicators can be supplied in SIDE MOUNTED or TOP MOUNTED types. Auto-shut-off-ball-check, needle or ball valve isolators, can be supplied integral with these indicators on request.

II. TOP MOUNTED LEVEL INDICATORS
FEATURES:
These level indicators are very safe for use in storage tanks, vessels and reactors and there is no chance of leakage of the precious or hazardous fluids stored. The float is guided in tank by perforated pipe and above by sealed glass tube. The float steam tip has a pointer which indicates the level.

Flat Glass Level Gauges



These flat glass level gauges are constructed with a solid forged steel bar main chamber and cover plates recessed to have perfect alignment of gaskets and glass. Though rated for #2000 psig rating, these are light weight and hence do not need any cumbersome supports for medium lengths. With special main chamber construction these gauges can be supplied up to #3000 psig rating. Main Chambers are available in forged C.S, M.S, SS304, SS316, P.P., P.V.C., FRP and Rubber lined. Gaskets are of CAF, GRAFOIL, TEFLON, NON-ASBESTOS, etc.

WHY FLAT GLASS LEVL GAUGES?
You have designed your vessels with utmost care of getting the maximum economy. Also your investment on each vessel will be considerable. The return on your investment, should in no way, be hampered by defective Level gauges. Your level gauge should have the same strength as your vessel to withstand the high pressures to which it is subjected and the corrosive characteristics of the fluid. Also, your valuable process fluid should never leak out through the glass fitting, which is quite common in most of the tubular glass level gauges available in the market.

In industries, you may have to measure the levels of colorless liquids, interface of immisible fluids, liquids with sub-zero temperatures and liquids with too much foaming. All these requirements can be met with by our latest types of flat glass level gauges.

Flat Glass Level Gauges




FLAT GLASS LEVEL GAUGES

REFLEX GAUGES:
These are assembled with flat glasses with inner surfaces of reflecting prisms. Due to total internal reflection reflection liquid level shows black in contrast to a mirror-like surface above, The gauges are used for services where observation is required at a distance and on low pressure boilers.

TRANSPARENT GAUGES:
These are assembled with two numbers of totally transparent toughened glasses to give a through vision of liquid levels. These gauges are recommended for interface levels, coloured fluids where colour is of interest to the process behavior and services where excessive foaming may exist. In high pressure boilers these gauges are recommended to be used with mica shields.

GLASS:
Teleflo engineers continuous research, development and experimental studies on glass toughening and composition has made the tempered glasses used in these gauges most dependable providing a high strength resistant to both thermal and mechanical shocks and with the highest degree of visibility.

SPECIAL LEVEL GAUGES:
Teleflo offers level gauges for every kind of application in the process industry and the following are very widely used. Apart from the types detailed below Teleflo can offer level gauges with rubber lining, lead bonding, steam traced and also with Boiler Inspector Certificates. Teleflo has already supplied to leading Indian Industries number of Boiler level gauges and are now planning a standardization of the centre to centre distance of gauges used in Boiler in this country.

NON-FROST GAUGES:
For cryogenic services where formation of frost on the gauge may cover the window, non frosting extensions made out of clear transparent perspex sheet prevents frost from covering the windows and thereby maintains clear visibility at all times. The frost shield extends beyond the cover plate by 2” or more as per the service temperature. The cover plate of the gauge clamps the flanges extension to the glass, thus maintaining direct contact with the gauge glass so that frost is prevented from forming. No sealing or drying agent is required. The flanged base of the frost preventing unit is surrounded by a gasket, so that, in case od accidental breakage of the forst preventing unit, the torque of the cover bolts will be maintained and leakage will not result. Non frosting gauges are available both in reflex and transparent types.

LARGE CHAMBER GAUGES:
TELEFLO large chamber gauges are for boiling liquids having a tendency to surge, These gauges are recommended for liquids with high rate of bubbling and vapouring liquids. If the liquid being gauged has an unusually low boiling point, the gauge and valves should be insulated and the gauge equipped with a non-frosting unit.

TELEFLO large chamber gauges are for flat glass reflex or transparent design. The main chamber is out of 2”NB seamless pipe with suitable gaskets and cover plates. All parts are rust proofed. These gauges can be supplied to a maximum pressure rating of 40 kg/cm square.

Reflex Level Gauges: 
Fluidyne Reflex Level Gauges are assembled with flat glasses with inner surfaces of reflecting prisms. Transparent Level Gauges:

These Large Chamber gauges are used for services where clear observation is required for boiling or unstable liquids.




Pad Type Level Gauges



Fluidyne Pad Type Level Gaugesor Welding Pad Level Gauges or Window Type View Glass is assembled with a reflex type of flat glass with inner surfaces of reflecting prisms or totally transparent glass and are suitable for welding on to tanks and pressure vessels and consists of Welding Pad, Glass, Gaskets, Cover, Studs and Nuts. These gauges are used for services where clear observation is required for contents of tank or vessel and for level indication. Various sizes are available and they can also be manufactured as per specifications or drawings of customer.




Boiler Level Gauge Glass



Boiler Level Gauges are used as a boiler mounting of all types of high and low pressure boilers to indicate the boiler water level which is critical and they are often used as Right hand and Left Hand in pairs.Boiler Level Gauges are used along with Auto-Shut-Off-Ball-Check-Valves with union bonnet or bolted bonnet design.There are basically three types as given below:-
  1. Boiler Reflex Level Gauge Glass
    Fluidyne Boiler Reflex Level Gauges are assembled with flat glasses with inner surfaces of reflecting prisms. Due to total internal reflection liquid level shows black in contrast to a mirror-like surface above, Reflex Level Gauges and Boiler Reflex Gauge Glass are used where observation is required at a distance and used on low pressure boilers.
  2. Boiler Transparent Level Gauges
    Fluidyne Boiler Transparent Level Gauges are assembled with pair of flat glasses and often along with Mica sheets and gaskets. Transparent Boiler Level Gauges are used where observation is required at close distances and on higher pressure boilers. Fluidyne Boiler Gauge Glasses use imported Klinger Maxsos, Corning or equivalent make toughened or tempered borosilicate glasses.
  3. Boiler Tubular Level Gauge with Protector Glass
    3.Fluidyne Boiler Tubular Level Gauges are assembled with heavy duty heavy wall toughened and tempered borosilicate tubular glasses with glass protector assembly. These Boiler Tubular LevelGauges are used on low pressure boilers. Glass protectors consists of glass holders at top and bottom flat toughened glass protectors.

Boiler Remote Level Indicators & Red Liquid



Our highly efficient remote water-level indicator, liquid level indicators detects the water-level fluctuations in the boiler drum. These liquid level indicators are very delicately designed to provide flawless indications. Our highly accurate remote level indicators help to keep a track on the displacement of the water levels in the boiler. When the water levels in the boiler rise, the increasing water column presses the red indicating liquid (sealing liquid) from the first phase into second phase and then indicates in the Inspection glass of the indicator. The best quality Red Indication liquids are only used by us. These Remote level indicator Red indication liquid have long life and provide accurate indication. The water displaced from Phase one flows from the condenser into Phase three and then into the boiler. If the water level in the drum falls, then the indicating liquid in phase three in the inspection glass, falls correspondingly. The water vapor formation in the condenser takes place when the water level in phase three is constantly filled up.




Purge Level - Indicators



Remote Level Indicator for storage Tanks, Process Vessels, Reactors, Settlers, Evaporators, Reboilers, Filters etc. The Tanks or vessels may be open, pressurized or evacuated and at any altitude and at a distance around a radius of 200 feet.

Ideally suited for the continuous indication of level of corrosive and hazarduous chemicals. Centralised indication of level of various storage tanks is made feasible, which will help in economic and precise handling of liquids in tanks during transfer, mixing and despatch and also help in inventory control.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Air or some inert gas is made to purge in to the system at a small negligible rate (approx 5-10LPM) through a drop pipe fitted in the tank or vessel. The back pressure created by the level of liquid is transmitted to the remote indicator, which be a panel mounted or wall mounted single limb manometer. The indicator can be directly calibrated in terms of the level of liquid in the tank either in length units, volume units or weight units. For pressurised or evacuated tanks an equalising line is provided and the tank pressure and the manometer pressure are equalised.

Wall or Pannel Mounted type Indicator, mounted on M.S. or aluminium channel and finished in grey or black, Dial type indicator or Manometer type with Reservoir blocks and catch pots made of suitable material, Glass tubes of 6 mm OD or 10 mm OD with gland packing at the top and bottom. Connections ¼” BSP socket type standard. Special adaptors for other sizes. Scale made of acrylic plastic with lines and numerals engraved in black. Scale can be adjusted from outside by means of a micrometer screw. The scale and glass will be protected by a clear acrylic plastic cover on the front. For outdoor applications weather proof case can be supplied against specific requirements.

Toughened Glass - Mica & Gaskets



Fluidyne engineers continuous research, development and experimental studies on alumina-borosilicate composition has made the tempered glasses used in these gauges most dependable providing a high strength resistant to both thermal and mechanical shocks and with the highest degree of visibility. These toughened and tempered glasses can withstand thermal shock and mechanical shock and vibrations and ensure long life of the level gauge. Mica is used in transparent level gauges to protect the glass and for higher temperature resistance of glass and the best quality ruby mica is only used by us. Gaskets are made from high quality Klingerite, PTFE, Graphite, Mettalic Graphite as per the demand of the service.
